Skinny

Maret’s backcourt is loaded with experience with seniors with Davis, Barnes and Drake Goddard. The three have played together since their freshmen seasons and averaged a combined 23 points per game last winter. Their veteran presence makes the Frogs the favorite to repeat as MAC champions after they won the school’s first outright title last winter. . . . Sidwell, the MAC runner-up, lost its three leading scores from last season due to graduation, including First Team All-Met Josh Hart (Villanova), and all three averaged double figures for the Quakers. Sophomore Mickey Bell (7.2 ppg) will have to shoulder more of a scoring load this season, but after a productive summer with the DC Assault AAU team, he should be up to the task. . . . Flint Hill and Potomac School have a strong shot to challenge for a spot in the league championship game, and both squads have their five leading scorers returning. A major cog in the Huskies’ attack will be Anderson, a first-team all-MAC guard who averaged 11.4 points per game last season.
