G Danny Kravitz, Jewish Day, 6-1, Sr.

G Brandon Thompson, Covenant Life, 5-9, Sr.

Jewish Day returns four of its top five scorers from a year ago, including Kravitz (14.2 points per game) who is a crafty playmaker, and Jon Prigal. . . . McLean School could face an uphill battle to defend its PVAC crown with the graduation of seven seniors. But Coach Omar Griffin expects his returning starters in English and JoJo McKay to help the Mustangs gel into a contender. . . . Covenant Life possesses the league’s most prolific scorer in Thompson, who dropped 44 points in on contest last year en route to averaging 20.2 points per game last season. . . . Duckett is a force inside for St. Anslem’s and is a consistent double-double threat with his size and athleticism. . . . Grace-Brethren lost much of its talent to graduation and transfers following the departure of Coach Tony Cabbagestalk. Under new Coach Michael Fourth, Michael Gray will be the focal point offensively as the Eagles look to return to the PVAC title game for the third straight year. . . . Edmund Burke, behind guards Enzi Gregory and Nigel Smith, and Sandy Spring are potential sleepers in this deep conference. Basketball Preview
