Covenant Life has won the past two PVAC titles with undefeated 16-0 league seasons, and hasn’t lost a PVAC game since losing to Oakcrest in the tournament on Feb. 19, 2009. The Cougars are once again the clear favorite with Mstowski (12.5 ppg) leading a deep core of seniors that also includes guard Dominique Seamon (11.8 ppg) and forward Briel Knowlton (7.6 ppg) . . .

Washington Waldorf has a good combination of size and athleticism, led by Kulesza, who is a solid post player and rebounder but is also the team’s best three-point shooter. With 5-11 sisters Iliana and Lina Flefel also in the frontcourt, Waldorf should contend for the title. . . . Four starters are back from a much-improved Edmund Burke team, led by two of the league’s best scorers in seniors Savannah Windham and Dana Brozost-Kelleher.
