Skinny: There’s no consensus order of finish among Liberty coaches with defending league champion Madison’s two leading scorers from last year, sophomore F Kelly Koshuta (19.5 ppg) and senior G Megan Henshaw (15.9 ppg, 62 three-pointers) , out with knee injuries, possibly for the season. LeDuc has committed to Cornell. The Warhawks lost in the region semifinal to West Springfield last season . . . Last season’s district runner-up, South Lakes, returns its top six scorers, led by Rendle and junior G Caitlin Jensen . . . Fairfax’s Murphree has offers from William & Mary, Richmond and American . . . Stone Bridge first-year Coach Dana Robinson has four college players in other sports: Nicole Prince (softball at James Madison), Sydney Broderick (softball at Brigham Young), Ashley Herndon (soccer at JMU) and Tiernan (soccer at Virginia Tech). Second seed Stone Bridge got upended by seventh seed Marshall in the first round of the district tournament last season. The Statesmen return no starters . . . Murphy, committed to Carnegie Mellon, was McLean’s top scorer and rebounder last season. Teammate Shellie Kaniut will play at Emory . . . Langley has eight seniors, among them senior G Grace Goettman and Southern California transfer Jaclyn Detwiler, who should help the Saxons when she returns from an ankle injury. . . . Jefferson, under first-year Coach Liz Reed, has won two of its first three games, already equaling last year’s win total.
