Nearly 30 girls’ lacrosse teams in Northern Virginia wore something pink — shoelaces, ribbons, socks or pins — as part of the Virginia High School League’s “Tournament for a Cure” on Friday, May 4. Proceeds from the district tournament games went toward breast cancer research.
