Team USA had a stellar day at the Beijing Olympics on Day 6, earning three gold medals. Snowboarder Chloe Kim completed a dynamic run in the women’s halfpipe, Nathan Chen dazzled in men’s figure skating, and the U.S. team won the inaugural mixed-team aerials event in freestyle skiing.

Elsewhere, Alpine skiing star Mikaela Shiffrin said she will return to the mountain Friday in Beijing, competing in the super-G despite back-to-back disappointments. But a reported positive drug test impacting the Russian figure skating team threatened to put a pall over the Games.
