Cavaliers 2-8, 0-6 ACC; Hurricanes 7-3, 3-3

One streak will end: Virginia enters its final road game of 2013 in the midst of the program’s worst in-season losing streak (seven games) since 1981, and the Cavaliers’ last outing (a 45-14 loss at North Carolina on Nov. 9) was one of their least competitive this year. But Coach Mike London, shown above, has yet to lose to Miami since taking over the program in 2010, and the Hurricanes are in their own three-game losing skid after ascending to No. 7 in the national polls.

Welcome back? Virginia’s defense has given up more than 496 yards per contest the past six games, but reinforcements could be on the way. The team listed defensive tackle Brent Urban as probable after he missed the past four games with a high-ankle sprain. Cornerback Maurice Canady is also probable after missing the past three games.

Get it moving: Virginia quarterback David Watford hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since Oct. 26. Miami’s defense, though, appears ripe for the taking after allowing 131 combined points to Florida State, Virginia Tech and Duke in the three straight losses.
