Danziger was born in the Bronx, attended the University of Vermont and the University of Denver. He served as an intelligence officer in Vietnam, being awarded a Bronze Star and an Air Medal. He began drawing for the Rutland Herald in Vermont, the NY Daily News, and the Christian Science Monitor. His work has appeared in newspapers around the world from the LA Times to the London Times to the Moscow Times, and was on the Washington Post editorial page September 12 2001. He won the Herblock Prize in 2008 and the Thomas Nast Prize (Landau) in 2006. He has published several novels and one children’s book. His most recent book, "In Mob We Trust," is a collection of editorial cartoons from the Trump years, and his Vietnam War memoir, "Lieutenant Dangerous," is coming in July.
