The stations had been closed since May as work crews fixed escalators, installed new digital signs for riders, and improved platforms. The stations did reopen on schedule, as Metro had said.
Riders reacted to the reopening on Monday.
On Twitter, a Metro rider who goes by @ledzepptim, wrote “I won’t miss the shuttle [buses] getting lost or making me late.”
@wmata @rushminus @unsuckdcmetro hello again I won’t miss the shuttle busses getting lost or making me late. #SummerMetroShutdown #Metro #WMATA #Metroisback pic.twitter.com/nMBSQVuqVg
