All lanes have reopened, authorities said, and delays stretch for about three miles.


A crash closed eastbound Interstate 66 in Virginia on Wednesday morning, officials said.

About 11 a.m., the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination Program tweeted that all lanes of I-66 eastbound were closed before Exit 47, or Route 234, in Prince William County.

Delays begin at Exit 44 and stretch more than a mile, the tweet said.

No further information about the incident was immediately available.
