Three lanes have reopened along the eastbound side of Interstate 66 in Fairfax after an earlier crash. But some delays remain, officials said.

A crash involving several vehicles has blocked part of Interstate 66 eastbound in Fairfax.

It’s not immediately known whether anyone was hurt.

The highway is blocked just before the Capital Beltway, with three lanes closed around 6:30 a.m. It’s not clear how long the closure will last, but the delays are nearly three miles.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
