YJDP: Development stalled around Nationals Park

It’s game day at Nationals Park and over 30,000 fans are flooding into the gates. The construction of the park came with promises to revitalize the surrounding areas by building new restaurants, bars, retail shops and apartments. But in the five years since the park opened, development has been minimal. Students from the Washington Post's Young Journalists Development Program's Multimedia Storytelling Workshop produced this video.
