Alabama coach: Racial slurs on MLK Day ‘vile, abhorrent’
The University of Alabama men’s basketball coach, Avery Johnson, addressed the racist rant by Harley Barber on Jan. 17, calling her remarks “abhorrent.” Barber was expelled from Alabama following racial slurs she made on social media on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
