Maine man who confessed to a 1968 fatal hit-and-run killed in crash
Douglas Parkhurst confessed in 2013 to committing a hit-and-run that killed Carolee Ashby, 4, in 1968. He was killed June 1 while trying to save children from a car that drove onto a Little League field.
