Texas governor spares convicted murderer from execution
On Feb. 22, Gov. Greg Abbott spared the life of a Texas man who was on death row for plotting the killing of his family. The only surviving member of the orchestrated shooting, the convicted murderer's father, was behind the pleas to save his life.
