Brett Kavanaugh in 2006: 'I was not involved' in Bush torture policy
In response to a question from Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill). about his knowledge of President George W. Bush's torture policy during his confirmation hearing to become D.C. Circuit Judge in 2006, Brett Kavanaugh said, "I was not involved and am not involved in the questions about the rules governing detention of combatants."
