House Republican says rising sea levels caused by dirt, rocks

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) told a former senior White House science adviser on May 16 that rising sea levels were due, in part, to silt from rivers and cliff rock falling into the ocean. The remarks came during a House hearing on technology and climate change.
