Houston police chief: 'We need to start using the ballot box' to enact gun control
Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo spoke out against inaction on gun control on May 20. "Anyone who owns a firearm that doesn't secure it properly and it ends up in the wrong hands and used to kill innocent people, that that should carry some significant consequence," he said.
