Maryland Governor Larry Hogan calls for Trump's removal from office

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said on Jan. 7 that "America will be better off” if President Trump resigned or was removed from office, allowing Vice President Pence to lead the administration through “a peaceful transfer of power.” His comments come a day after a mob overtook U.S. Capitol officers and stormed the U.S. Capitol as lawmakers attempted to certify the electoral count.
