Schumer says Pompeo won’t defend Mueller probe from Trump
Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) on April 25 announced his opposition on the Senate floor to secretary of state nominee Mike Pompeo, saying Pompeo’s answers about protecting special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein were “very insufficient.”
