Mayor Bowser says new advisory committee will look at racial disparities in the city
Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced Thursday that she would be establishing a Reopen DC Advisory Committee, and one issue the group will look at is how to address racial disparities in the city. "We know, however, that these disparities didn't just pop up during this pandemic. That they're decades, and indeed generations in the making."
