Olympic figure skater turns down Pence meeting: 'I am a proud gay American'
Openly gay U.S. Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon turned down a meeting with Vice President Pence during the Olympic games after criticizing him for his stance on gay rights. Pence responded on Twitter, telling Rippon not to let the "fake news" distract him.
