Melinda Gates on whether Oxford should’ve allowed their vaccine to be open sourced

Following criticism that the Gates Foundation encouraged Oxford to sell exclusive rights to its vaccine to AstraZeneca instead of allowing it to be open sourced, Melinda Gates that Oxford needed to partner with a pharmaceutical company to produce its vaccine. She added that the Gates Foundation can now work to ensure the vaccine is affordable.
