Afghan President Ghani offers to recognize Taliban as a political group
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said on Feb. 28, he is willing to recognize the Taliban as a legitimate political group, as part of proposed peace talks that could lead to ending the war that has been ongoing for 16 years.
