French workers ramp up strikes over retirement age, raising pressure on Macron

PARIS — Protesters flooded the streets in cities across France on Tuesday in an ongoing show of anger over President Emmanuel Macron’s pension overhaul plan, which has triggered some of the country’s deepest unrest in years. Demonstrators blocked roads and marched onto the tracks of a train station in central Paris.
