An ‘unprecedented missing aircraft mystery’

About 40 ships and 34 aircraft from 10 countries have been combing the Gulf of Thailand and the South China Sea looking for Flight MH370. The search expanded Monday into areas well beyond the plane’s intended flight path toward Beijing. Authorities are now looking at areas in the Andaman Sea, on the western side of the Malay Peninsula.
