Latest attack has similarities to 2009 Fort Hood Massacre

Wednesday’s shooting at Fort Hood, Tex., in which Army Spec. Ivan Lopez shot 19 colleagues, killing three, had similaritiesto the 2009 shooting in which Maj. Nidal M. Hasan also turned a gun on fellow soldiers at the base. Lopez bought his handgun at the same gun shop in Killeen, Tex., where Hasan had purchased his, and carried out the assault less than a mile away. Read related article
