Although a cease-fire has officially been in effect since Sept. 5, low-intensity fighting appears to have let separatists make significant land gains in eastern Ukraine. Separatists claimed Wednesday that they expect to have full control in a few days of the Donetsk International Airport, which has been under Ukraine control since the start of the fighting.
