"The stage is set for the heroes at hand." . . .

"The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything: A VeggieTales Movie," in theaters today, is a silly adventure featuring armless and legless characters. The G-rated movie is geared to ages 8 and younger, but many older kids will enjoy it, too (especially the music video during the end credits).

'N Sync's Joey Fatone guests (and sings and dances) on "Hannah Montana" Sunday at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel. Funny stuff.

Confused about the presidential election? "Nick News," Sunday at 9 p.m., takes a look at the race and has kids explain where the candidates stand on various issues.

Need money? "Biz Kid$" teaches how to make it, manage it and save it. The first of 26 half-hour episodes airs Monday at 6 p.m. on WHUT- Channel 32. WETA-Channel 26 begins running the series next month.

Who will succeed Jordin Sparks as "American Idol" champion? Season 7 of the Fox hit begins with four hours of mostly bad candidates, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m.
