Federal Government

• Federal offices will be closed.
• In the District, some post offices will be closed tomorrow and collection from certain street boxes near inaugural sites will be suspended today and tomorrow. There will be partial mail delivery tomorrow in Zip codes 20001, 20002, 20003, 20005, 20024 and 20037. There will be no mail delivery to Zip codes 20004 and 20006.
• Smithsonian museums will be open except for the Renwick Gallery. Museum mall entrances will be closed.

Taking Metro

• Metrorail will be open from 5 a.m. until 3 a.m. today and tomorrow.
• Tomorrow, Metrobus will operate on a Saturday schedule, but many downtown routes will be detoured because of street closures. Special bus-to-rail ransfers will be available downtown to allow customers to complete their trip on Metrorail for free.
• Off-peak fares will be charged, and parking will be free at Metro-operated facilities tomorrow.
Station closures: Tomorrow, the Smithsonian and Archives-Navy Memorial stations will be closed from 5 a.m. until after the inaugural parade ends about 5 p.m. Mount Vernon Square, Seventh Street-Convention Center will close at 3 p.m. tomorrow and reopen at 1 a.m. Friday.
