How Metrorail fare increases will affect you

Metro's Board of Directors has voted to approve the budget for fiscal year 2011, which includes fare increases designed to help the agency cover a $189 million budget gap. The fare increases will hit riders on all lines and services, including rail, bus and MetroAccess, the service for elderly and disabled riders.
