G P.J. McNamara
Georgetown Prep / Sr.
An imposing figure between the pipes, McNamara used every inch of his 6-foot-2 frame to keep the puck out of the net. With quick reactions and swift cover-ups, he allowed just 2.1 goals per game and boasted a .918 save percentage, leading the Little Hoyas to the Interstate Athletic Conference regular season title. In the team’s regular season finale, McNamara stopped 43 shots to deal Landon its only local loss in two seasons. He is the first goalie to be named Mid-Atlantic Prep Hockey League player of the year.
