Dondre Echols
Potomac (Md.) / Senior
Echols already owned six state outdoor titles either as an individual or part of a relay team before this season began but disciplined himself even more this year and produced the fastest performances of his career. At the Maryland 3A meet, he shattered state records in the 110-meter hurdles (13.59 seconds) and 300 hurdles (36.26) before sparking the Wolverines' 4x100 relay team that won in 41.08. Echols, who went undefeated against area competition in the hurdles in each of the last two seasons, was also runner-up in the 100 (10.62). Will compete for South Carolina.
