Coach of the Year
Tom Crowell, Springbrook: Longtime coach guided the Blue Devils to a 27-0 record, their second consecutive Maryland 4A championship and the area’s No. 2 ranking. Has a record of 89-12 in four seasons at the Silver Spring school. Previously coached 11 years at Wheaton, three at Northwest and four at Sherwood. Also an assistant football coach at Good Counsel, he previously was the head football coach at Sherwood for three seasons, guiding the Warriors to one state final appearance.
